May as well update this Razz

Lately, due to my Waterstones for some inexplicable reason deciding to stock more yaoi manga unbeknownst to most of the staff, I've recently bought Gakuen Heaven and volume 1 of Junjou Romantica.

Both are extremely hot and should have a shiny warning on the front saying you shouldn't read them before you sleep as my fangirlyness kept me up for hours after reading them...not that that's generally a bad thing Very Happy

Elphaba, your Waterstones has probably taken all the yaoi from my local Waterstones *still sulking about it* There used to be shelves and shelves of yaoi, it was amazing! Now there's about a third of what there used to be and most it's crap or they have things like volumes 4 and 5 of Junjou Romantica but not 1, 2 and 3. Waterstones are not my friend at the moment, getting rid of all that yaoi like that Evil or Very Mad Laughing

From my experience it's more of a complete randomisation as to what they have. Maybe my Waterstones is stocking more yaoi because they're a bit slow on the uptake, I dunno Razz

I've never had the experience of seeing rows and rows of yaoi though and I think if I did I'd probably spend my every living moment in there... Very Happy It sucks that's happened though. I've ordered a load off the internet for Christmas so at least there's still that Very Happy

well i've found that my collections grow alot since i was last here. after all i love liily hoshinos work andd yen press are releasing sum, as for waterstones i find it depends on staff etc. as "aparantly" the one in newport is stopping selling manga. when i asked (local store to me u see) it wasn't true.

Heh yes I know how that is - every time I go back to my collection it seems it's grown even bigger before I've realised it.

As for w.stones - yes it depends on the staff member running the section and of course their knowladge. Most stores will have some form of stock but a lot of the time it's stock that is auto supplied alas. Unfortunatly the section isnt necc- run by a person who has an interest in it.

The only Yaoi I have are:

- Gakuen Heaven
- Junjo Romanica 1+2
- Love Mode 1-11
- Love Quest
- Man's Best Friend
- Shinobu Kokoro
- Wild Rock

I also have some shonen-ai:

- Demon Diary 1-7 (does that count?)
- Eerie Qweerie 1-4
- Gorgeous Carat 1-4
- Gravitation 1-12 and Gravitation EX vol.1 (and the novels)
- Legal Drug 1-3 (CLAMP slashes FTW!)

But mostly I have shojo and shonen manga that are too many to list. (Around 400+)
